WALL-E 2.0, Day Six: ThrustWell, THIS was quickly turning into an odd morning.   
Captain McCrea found himself sharing a most uncomfortable handshake with the surprisingly fit Milton Forthright, a massive crowd gathered to greet them both.  As questions and exclamations filtered out into his ears, the Captain simply had to wonder just what this man wanted.  "And now I meet the third and final piece of the Axiom's descent to Earth!" the man...Milton, he'd called himself...exclaimed as their shake ended.  "Captain Maculkin himself!"

WALL-E 2.0, Day Five: EVEEVE continued to look untrustingly at the strange man walking so proudly off the ship.  His surname was recognized by her Databanks-Forthright, C.E.O. and President of Buy 'n' Large Incorporated-but something about the man nonetheless put her at ease.  Shivering a bit behind her, WALL-E seemed to share the feeling.  "Directive?" EVE prompted again, hoping for a slightly more descriptive answer this time.     
Rather than provide one, however, the man...Milton...simply strode up to her, that too-good-to-be-real smile still stretched on his lips.  "Hmm...you must be the EVE Probe that WALL-E 2.0, Day Five: EVE

Now that he had to interact more often and to a greater degree with humans than he was used to, WALL-E had decided it was time to learn how to speak their language a bit better.  He understood it already, of course, but his Vocal Processes were not used to actually saying human words for the most part.  The Captain had reccommended he take lessons with the Teacher Bot who had helped eductate the children born on the Axiom, but WALL-E had known from the start there was only one teacher for him.  EVE had WALL-E 2.0 pt 4: The Spaceship

Yay! Now that I've shouted that to a mostly empty room, I'd like to apologize to anyone who cares for my rather long absence... haven't really built up much of a network here, so not sure anyone noticed my absence, but I have not forgotten about good old DA...

School has practically drowned me this sem... (which is a problem cause I need a job but don't have much time for one!) But the good news is that all that time and energy has been going into improving my art and learning animation! *does happy dance*

Also good news along that line... I will soon be recieving my first ever paycheck for animation O.o A friend of mine wanted a couple short animated segments for his film and I've already completed one (need to see about getting it up here :P)

I would comment on some stuff but right now, but there are a lot of deviations and I really should be sleeping... perhaps tomorrow :)

In the meantime, happy DAing :)

My art background is somewhat... recent. As a kid (7-8 years old) I wanted to be an animator, but a conveniently placed "critique" at that young age convinced me I would never be much of an artist. Senior year of high school I got into Filmmaking and, subsequently, wondered again about animation.

After 5 years of college with two more to come (way too long, but that's what happens when you're working your way through it and you're not sure what you want to do :P) and much revelation, I can finally say I know who I was created to be.

I am a storyteller. Story's occur in many different forms, and all are of interest to me. Film, animation, novels, short stories, comics, video games, whatever the medium... I'm here to tell a story :)

  • Favourite movie: I have a lot of "favorite" movies... it's hard to choose just one :P
